Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By creating a CashMate account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use CashMate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your password. You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password and notify us immediately.
3. What CashMate is — and is not
CashMate is a personal finance tracking and budgeting tool. It is not a bank, not a broker, not an investment advisor, and not a regulated financial institution. The Zakat calculator provides estimates based on the inputs you supply and the madhab rules you select — it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar. Information you enter is not professional financial, tax, or legal advice.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use CashMate to store data for anyone other than yourself or an organization you are authorized to represent. Do not attempt to break authentication, access other users' data, abuse our infrastructure, or use automated scraping beyond what is reasonable for personal use.
5. Free during beta
CashMate is free during beta with no usage limits. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future. We will provide at least 60 days notice before any change that would affect features you currently rely on.
6. No warranty
CashMate is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep the service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Back up your important data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashMate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Since CashMate is free during beta, that amount is zero.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will give you reasonable notice where feasible.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get at least 30 days notice on this page and by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
