About
A finance app that respects how you actually live.
CashMate started from two frustrations. The first: every budgeting app assumes your income is predictable and your life is American. Freelancers, students, and entrepreneurs live differently. Money comes in irregularly, currencies cross borders, and priorities shift quarter to quarter. The second: no mainstream finance app has a serious Zakat engine. Muslim users have been stuck doing annual wealth calculations in spreadsheets while their monthly budget lives somewhere else.
We decided to build both in one place. CashMate handles day-to-day budgeting, tracks investments and multi-currency accounts, and carries a full Madhab-aware Zakat calculator with live gold and silver prices. No bank-linking aggregators — the data you enter is the data we use, and that is the deal.
We are a small independent team. The product is free during beta and will stay free for the core features. We intend to earn revenue later by being worth paying for, not by selling your transaction history or forcing a trial timer.

Our principles
- Your data is yours. We store it, you own it, and you can export or delete it any time.
- Manual over magic. We use AI where it helps and keep you in control where it matters. No surprise categorizations you cannot override.
- Honest about what we do not do. No Plaid, no bank-link aggregators, no credit-card-offer upsells. Those are trade-offs we made on purpose.
- Underserved users first. Freelancers with irregular income, Muslim users who need Zakat tooling, students juggling three currencies. Features ship for them before they ship for the median US bank account.
